Description and Design Process

Unbeknownst to me, this project is what fueled my love for packaging design. To start, I was tasked with making a design for a cereal box. Beyond that, I had complete freedom to decide who the target audience was and what the design was going to be. I decided to make the target audience for this cereal box be teenagers, as I wanted to branch out and make some edgier designs. For the main character, I created a moody girl surrounded by flowers and colors to juxtapose the edginess with some sweetness. Along with this, I found that the bright colors would contrast nicely against the black background.
