For this project, I was tasked with making an informational brochure on the environmental problem known as Urbanization. For this assignment, my goal was to create a very visually engaging brochure that would make people want to learn more about Urbanization. I think I captured the effect of Urbanization with animals walking throughout the city. The main hurdle that I encountered for this project was that my layout was getting busy really quickly, and it was difficult figuring out a layout that is visually exciting but also isn't too chaotic. I think I finally pulled it all together when I thought to put the pictures of the buildings looking up. I picked the color orange because it is definitely a warning color, and I feel that it depicts the urgency of urbanization well.
